Terms & Conditions

By registering and paying for the event, you acknowledge and accept all the following Terms and Conditions.

Assumption of Risk: All participants join the Cork Swing Dance Exchange classes and parties at their own risk, acknowledging the potential for higher-than-normal physical activity and potential injuries. Participants are responsible for their own well-being and the well-being of others.

Participants Liability: Participants are solely responsible for any direct or indirect damages caused during the event. Cork Swing Dance Exchange organisers assume no liability for any theft, loss, or damage (including personal belongings and equipment) brought by participants or belonging to participants, regardless of where the items are stored (e.g., classes, party venues, lockers).

Health, Safety, and Valuables: Cork Swing Dance Exchange organisers and teachers are not responsible for participants’ health, physical injuries, or the safety of their valuables. Participants should exercise caution at all times and take measures to protect themselves and others.

Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to respect other participants, teachers, and organisers, and contribute to creating a safe and friendly environment for everyone. Due to the nature of the workshop, it is essential for participants to listen to and follow teachers’ safety instructions.  

Alcohol and Drug Policy: Due to the safety requirements and the nature of the workshop, participants are restricted from attending the classes under the alcohol or drug influence. Participants bear full responsibility for any consequences, injuries and damage incurred as the result of failing to comply with the restrictions.  

Cancelation Policy: If you decide to cancel, unfortunately, we will not refund any payments. You can transfer your ticket to someone else of the same role. Please let the organisers know if that is the case.

Note: Please include ‘Cork Swing Exchange’, your name and whether or not you’re paying for a Brewery tour and beer tasting add-on in the comment box.
